Packing Services

Packing services cover everything from a full pack — where we box up your entire household — to a partial pack where we handle just the breakables or the rooms you don't want to deal with. We bring commercial-grade materials: small, medium, and large boxes, dish packs for glassware, wardrobe boxes for hanging clothes, packing paper, bubble wrap, and tape.

Kitchen packing takes the most time. We wrap every plate, bowl, and glass individually, layer them in dish packs with paper padding, and label the boxes by room and contents. Glassware and stemware get extra bubble wrap. For artwork and mirrors, we use corner protectors and wrap them in blankets, or we can arrange third-party crating if it's high-value or oversized.

Books go in small boxes so they don't get too heavy. Linens and soft goods go in large boxes. We'll pack electronics in their original boxes if you still have them, or we'll pad them with blankets and mark them fragile. We label every box with the destination room and a general contents list — that makes unpacking a lot faster and keeps you from opening 30 boxes looking for the coffee maker.

If you're doing a partial pack, the most common request is kitchen, glassware, and artwork. You handle clothes, linens, and garage stuff; we handle anything that can break. Packing labor is billed hourly or as a flat add-on to the moving quote. Materials are charged separately — either at cost or with a small markup. A three-bedroom house typically uses 60–80 boxes, two rolls of tape, and 20–30 pounds of packing paper.

We also offer unpacking services. We'll unbox everything, break down the boxes, and haul the packing materials away. That's usually billed hourly and happens the day after the move or whenever you're ready. Some customers want the whole house unpacked; others just want the kitchen and bathrooms done so they can handle the rest at their own pace.
