Local Moving

Local moving across Hall County and the surrounding metro Atlanta area is billed hourly. We run a standard crew of three movers and one truck for most residential jobs — that's the setup that keeps the hourly rate reasonable and the job moving without unnecessary delays. For a typical two-bedroom apartment, expect 4–5 hours dock-to-dock if you've already packed your boxes. Add an hour or two if we're doing the packing for you.

We wrap all furniture in quilted moving blankets and use shrink wrap on upholstered pieces to keep the blankets tight and the fabric clean. Dressers, mattresses, and anything with a finished surface gets padded. We use furniture dollies and hand trucks to protect your floors — both at the old place and the new one. If you've got tile or hardwood and narrow doorways, we add edge guards and use sliders under heavy items so nothing scrapes or gouges.

Pricing is hourly portal-to-portal, meaning the clock starts when we arrive at your first address and stops when the last item is off the truck at the destination. There's a two-hour minimum on most jobs. We give you a quote based on the size of the load, the access at both locations (stairs, elevator, parking distance from the door), and whether you need packing services. If you're moving during peak season — May through August — book at least three to four weeks out. Last-minute jobs we can sometimes fit in if we have a crew available, but availability tightens up fast on weekends.

We service apartment moves, house moves, condo relocations, and townhome jobs. If you're downsizing from a three-bedroom house into a one-bedroom apartment, we'll move what you're keeping and can coordinate storage for the rest. If you're moving into a multi-story building with an elevator, we confirm the reservation ahead of time so we're not waiting in the lobby with a loaded truck.

For moves within Hall County or to nearby counties, we know the routes, the buildings, and the dock schedules. We've moved people out of older apartment complexes with tight staircases and narrow hallways, and we know which buildings require certificates of insurance naming the property as an additional insured. We provide that documentation as part of the booking process — no surprises on moving day.
